Well recommended October 8, 2009 Mr. Gerard Murphy (London, UK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Very easy to use, my disk showed up as normal drives in windows and you can write to it as soon as you have formatted the drive.
Worked seemlessly with 2.5 and 3.5 disks. Spring mechanism moves for the size of disk to keep it in place.
Good transfer speed, I copied 60gb in less than 10mins I have a very large no of small files.
Good product! September 1, 2009 L. Belea (Dover, UK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
It works very good and gives full speed to my sata drive, I can copy at speeds of over 30 Megabytes/second and even play games from it with no lag. It is very easy to use and I haven't had any problems with it.
Docking station so cost-effective and convenient March 28, 2010 R. A. Hinder (London, England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
StarTeck's docking station comes with power supply, e-SATA and USB cables, and a useful short instruction manual. I use it for docking a 2TB SATA hard drive with my MacBook Pro using a USB connection. It does a perfect job of holding the hard disk temporarily whilst the computer backs up to it. Disk insertion and extraction are both easy, and the unit has sufficient grip of the hard disk to reassure you that the disk has docked OK.
Excellent docking station December 18, 2009 Mr. J. P. Russ Silsby 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This couldn't have been easier to set up and it works extremely well. I now have a very effective use for the hard disk from my old broken laptop. Great value for money.
Does the job it was designed for August 29, 2009 Mr. B. Clark (Glasgow. UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Very nice little tool. All you have to do is plug in your hard drive to power and USB. slip in a 2.5 or 3.5 Hd and thats it. You have an external drive to store whatever you want...
