Worked seemlessly with 2.5 and 3.5 disks. Spring mechanism moves for the size of disk to keep it in place. Good transfer speed, I copied 60gb in less than 10mins I have a very large no of small files. Good product! September 1, 2009 L. I use it for docking a 2TB SATA hard drive with my MacBook Pro using a USB connection. It does a perfect job of holding the hard disk temporarily whilst the computer backs up to it.
