Listen everyone! If you have the LaCie Mobile Disk 320GB hard drive, forget the "Caselogic Small Hard Drive Case" which everyone else seems to buy....get this one! The size is PERFECT for the LaCie, the device fits nice and snug, and there's still room for the cable! The case is pretty sturdy, too. I'm not going to test it of course but it looks like it'll do the job of protecting the drive whilst it's in my bag. There's an elastic strap inside and this secures the drive very well too. And the seller.....top marks again, got it delivered next day!
I did some shopping around and my experience is you'll struggle to find a portable hard drive case this small, it's the smallest one I could find. It goes without saying, check the dimensions of the case and your hard drive before buying, but I reckon that if you've got one of the new generation of very small, portable external HDs, this is the best case for the job.

I bought this to protect my Hitachi easi-backup mini portable hard drive after reviewing other case options. This case is robust, well made and a perfect size/fit for this Hitachi model, with just enough room inside to store the drive USB cable. It is compact and offers excellent protection for your mini drive. An elastic strap holds the drive securely in place. I'm certain that it will be suitable for the mini drives of manufacturers other than Hitachi . Just check the dimensions of the drive you want to protect before ordering. Inexpensive but lovely bit of kit.

I had been looking for a case for a Seagate External Portable Hard Drive. I initially purchased the Case Logic product offered here at Amazon, which is an excellent product, but a little too "tight" a fit for the Seagate drive, but fine for Maxtor's Basic portable drive. I was extremely pleased to find the Tuff-Luv case to be of equal quality and slightly more generous in size to accomodate the Seagate dive and I am sure other similar products. 2 or 3 millimetres here and there in the internal dimensions may not seem a lot, but makes all the difference when shopping for these kind of products on-line. I was also extremely impressed by the speed at which my order was processed, dispatched and delivered (by Royal mail). It must have been less than 24 hours (on standard delivery). Now that is what I call service!

Not much I can say other than it does what it says it does! Very solid exterior and nice soft interior to save your portable hard-drive from scratches and contamination in the connector points. It has an elastic strap to keep the HD secure on one side and enough space to tuck in your USB lead. From a size perspective I would imagine any passport size HD would fit this, I have the LG 500GB and it is spot-on! I would have given this 5 stars if they had put a small divider to separate where you put the USB lead, as if you are as fussy as me it would stop the potential of the USB scratching the case of the HD, but to be fair this does what it says on the tin.
